David's responsibilities include development of project delivery strategies, project management practices, project execution and management, procurement, contracting, planning/scheduling and cost engineering activities throughout the Group's projects worldwide. David has over twenty years experience in capital works project management in the oil and gas and mineral processing industries. Diversified past assignments have provided an extensive exposure to all aspects of capital works from pre feasibility to construction, commissioning and client hand over of major plants both in Australia and overseas.

Rosellen Johnson – Lead Business Improvement Consultant
Rosellen is a highly motivated and experienced professional with a practical approach that focuses on delivering results. Her strong operations background and demonstrated performance in various leadership roles focused on business improvement represents a sound blend of theory and practice in operations management. Rosellen's capabilities include setting business strategy direction, designing strategic and operational business processes, developing implementation roadmaps/tactical plans and leadership of operational, organizational and cultural change projects. Pierre C. Larroque – Project Finance Advisor
Pierre has over 30 years experience in investment and strategy advisory in the international mining and natural resource industries. In particular Pierre has extensive knowledge in the structuring of private equity and joint venture investments and for the raising of debt for emerging markets. Pierre’s expertise includes: Privatisation and Mining Investment Development, Project finance, corporate finance, private equity investments, and financial advisory services for large private and public international financial institutions, advising several African, Middle Eastern and Latin American countries on large privatisations and on the design and implementation of promotion policies for foreign direct investments, and advising several base metals and energy M&A and project finance transactions in Latin America, Africa, North America and Australasia, and on the country programs approval policy for a new US emerging markets assistance initiative.

Mario Del Fabbro – Lead Risk Management Consultant
Mario has nineteen years experience in audit, accounting, quality assurance, risk and business process management. He has been instrumental in the implementation of integrated risk management processes within the GRS business process model and has specialised skills in the areas of facilitation, risk assessment, business and operational change management and audit.
The commercial management section of GRS provides support to clients and projects on an as-required or on-going basis. We consult to clients with short-term requirements, as well as providing experienced personnel to undertake the commercial roles on various projects. Our commercial resources bring with them expertise in all facets of commercial management, including contracts, project controls and project rectification; and are supported by procedures, templates and standards.
Matthew Hender - Commercial Services Manager
Matthew specialises in contract formation, negotiation, project commercial establishment and claims management. His experience base includes project controls, contract development, assessment and negotiation, contract administration, claims management, and project management. Matthew has been exposed to commercial experience working for owners, contractors and consultants, and is ideally placed to identify and meet our clients' needs.
Cost control management is vital to the successful delivery of predictable project outcomes for feasibility studies and capital development projects. The expert establishment of cost control procedures and systems, and their professional ongoing maintenance, allows the tracking of commitments; expenditure; and variances, and the necessary cost forecasting critical to the realisation of a project delivered on budget and to expectations.
Jonty Osborn - Project Controls Manager
Jonty started his career as a Mechanical Engineer with his first ten years’ experience in various automated industries in South Africa. Since joining GRS, Jonty has performed various roles and has been involved in project controls management consulting to various clients on business process methodologies, procedure development, estimating, cost control and planning. His skills lie in the area of major capital cost estimating for CAPEX and OPEX, including cost risk and contingency analysis, and he is trained in professional project management methodologies. He is also experienced in planning, cost control, project implementation and commissioning.
Completions and Commissioning Management Services
Completions and Commissioning Management Services is an integral part of project management, focussing on ensuring commissioning commences on schedule, optimising sustainable throughput, and minimising commissioning and ramp up time. Through the development of optimum operating practices, we work with client teams to minimise plant downtime during commissioning and ensure sustainability by providing rapid outputs.
Daniel Vorster - Commissioning Manager
With over 25 years experience working on international industrial and mining projects, Daniel has a wealth of experience and a demonstrable record of achieving outstanding results for our clients in various management roles including Project Manager, Commissioning / Area Manager, and Lead Project Engineer. His key achievements include successfully designing, supervising, commissioning, and maintaining four large, high-tech projects from greenfield stages through to production, including the review and management of design and installation of a $275m wet concentrating and mineral separation plant.
Jose Torres – Lead Systems Engineer
Jose joined GRS whilst on assignment in Peru, and has proven to be an invaluable member of our organization acting as our regional representative in South America. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), graduating in systems engineering with a postgraduate specialisation in formulation, evaluation and management of projects.
His passion and expertise lie in the area of information and knowledge management and he is responsible for developing the GRS in-house CORS (Completions and Operational Readiness System); just one of the many IT business solutions Jose has developed over the past 15 years.
Jose has an extensive experience base across a diverse range of projects and environments. In 2010 Jose completed an 18 month remote location assignment with Barrick in the Dominican Republic working as a Cost Engineer on the PVDC Project for the owner’s team. Prior to this he worked as a Commissioning Lead on a remote assignment in the Peruvian Andes. He has also undertaken assignments in traditional project controls roles such as cost engineering and planning.
